Christmas

OK, So I'm giving you all a ton of notice so I expect everyone to be there. We are going to have the Christmas Party at my house on Thursday, December 17, 6:00 at Jill's house. We are also going to double up this month and do lunch on Tuesday December 22 since Tara will be in town that week. Will you please let me know if these dates will work for you as soon as possible. No presents this year, we are going to do something a little different. Details to follow :)

Weekend Tell-All

Well if it were up to me, I'd still be in Park City shopping and nibbling on my pumpkin pie cheesecake! But... I guess all good things have to come to an end, so here are the pictures from our weekend get-away. Please feel to add your comments! I love it when you add your stories... {SARA - especially you. You always have some good commentary!}

Here we are at our first destination at the Cheesecake factory. So far, so good. No damage on our wallets yet, nobody is throwing up yet, car sickness isn't WAY out of control yet... yeah... we're doing good.

This is after our shopping trip when we were all pooped and had shopped till we nearly dropped! It was a fun filled day and we were exhausted... but the good news was, we had talked Jaimi and Michelle into staying the night!

Bad news was, we were starting to get a little fragile at this point. Sharla and I had already been near barfing - both in the front seat of the car - due to extreme motion sickness. Poor Sara wanted to move cars since we kept rolling down the windows, had sweat beading up on our foreheads, and continually wondered if we were going to throw up.

I was feeling some hypothermia set in at this point... since I had dressed for St. George weather instead... {little tiny sandals and capris!} Thank goodness Whitney found these adorable knit hats at Banana Republic to keep us warm... and that Aero had some super comfy sweats for us all to buy. They did a whole lot better at keeping us warm than the little shorts that Sharla and I brought for p.j's. {duh}

We started showing off our goods that we had all purchased at the outlets, and this picture makes me LAUGH, because it looks like Sara is having a second baby shower for cute little Kade! :) {Which, if you would have seen all the clothes she bought him, you would have thought it WAS a second baby shower for him!} ha ha ha!

Before we headed out for a late night dinner at Baja Cantina, this was about the time that Michelle started to NOT feel right and needed something to make her feel better. Unfortunately, she chewed {what the?} an ibuprofen pill on an empty stomach and she quickly turned for the worse. We got to the restaurant and quickly ordered her a Dr. Pepper - hoping that would cure her symptoms... but she was out the door... up-chucking all over the road.

We were all trying to diagnose her. Was it the piggy flu? Was it the regular flu? Was it just because she needed her thyroid medicine? {Oh what loving friends we are!} There was no fever, so we ruled out the swine flu pretty quickly and figured it was something else. Unfortunately though, that meant we were back to Plan A, which was that Michelle and Jaimi were going back home for the night and wouldn't be staying up for the LATE night party at the condo! BUMMER!!! This is all of us eating dinner... while Michelle is outside feeling sick... {poor girl!}

Once we got back to the condo and in our jammies, we realized we weren't in our 20's anymore! LOL! We got to watch Sharla inject herself with her crazy antibiotics for her bone infection... we were yawning at 10:35... we were entertained with Whitney's sniffles for about 45 minutes AFTER she took her Sudafed medicine... and I fessed up about all my anxieties. I think Jill and Sara were the only "normal" ones during the late night condo experience. {Although these days, I'm pretty convinced that "normal" is just a setting on a dryer!}

During all of the late night talking, laughing, chit-chatting, catching up and giggling... we added something to it that we normally don't do that made it even SWEETER... {and honestly girls, I wish it was something we could add to every single GIRLS NIGHT OUT!} It's called PUMPKIN PIE CHEESECAKE!!!! {Oh my yummy!!!} I think we all had to eat our treats in installments... I finished mine off at my house today just before writing this, and I can't wait to go back up there! It was the yummiest thing I've had in ages!

This really was an amazing weekend getaway! I wish it would have been longer, I wish everybody would have been there... and gosh dang-it, I wish there wouldn't have been a big explosion by my head in the middle of the night! LOL! {You had to be there... and Sara, it was NOT a dream! ha ha!}

Thank you Sara for planning it all, especially in the middle of moving into your new house! You are awesome and we all appreciate it! Oh, you have NO idea how we appreciate it! :)

Ok - so the pictures below, ignore them. We are staying somewhere different, and no hot tub. I will tell you the very long story later. Anyways, it looks like we are going to have two cars. One will leave in the morning and one in the afternoon. Michelle and Julie are coming up for the day only. Lindsey B will be out of town, and Gina hasn't got back to me yet. Sharla, Lindsey V and Jill are for sure leaving in car 2 in the afternoon. I need to check with a few others to see what they prefer, then I will get back to you all and let you know the final plans. So get ready we are going to have fun!

Yes that is a hot tub, right out our door! And if that isn't good enough they have four more on the property.

We could even cook! Sad to say, I have actually thought about that.

So everyone come, you know we will have oh so much fun!!
I would like to know who is coming pretty soon, so we can figure out travel.
And if you are contemplating that you might be to busy to come for ONE NIGHT and hang out with the girls and get REJUVENATED for the winter months coming up, don't talk to me. So far it looks like that is the weekend that we can start moving into our new house.

Seriously So Fun

Hey Girls, here are the super cute pictures from our fun get together last night! :) I debated whether or not to put the picture below in, but since bear was begging to be in one of the pictures, I thought it would make him happy to have his time to shine! LOL!

Here's our little sexy man outside the restaurant, that gave us better service than any of the waiters INSIDE the restaurant.... but don't worry! We showed them! I still have my souvenir pen inside my purse that I accidentally kept, and as they say, "You UNDERSTAND!" Right? LOL!

And here we are, with little grumbling tummies... waiting... patiently waiting... {what was it now}... an hour, hour and a half... for our food? Oh dear me! Anyway, what better thing to do to waste time than take pictures? :) Anyway, it was a wonderfully fun night FULL of LAUGHS, and MORE LAUGHS... thanks girls! It was so fun getting together!

September CLUB

Hey Girlies!

I'm having club on WEDNESDAY the 23rd (I'm giving you a whole 8 days notice here... so no excuses for not being able to find a sitter)... and we'll meet at my house at 6:30 pm then go out for a night of yummy food away from our men and children! Sound fun?
